Teacher Evaluation

The Tennessee First to the Top Act of 2010 requires the development of a new annual teacher and principal evaluation system. A 15-member Teacher Evaluation Advisory Committee is responsible for developing criteria and guidelines for the new system. This group will be meeting every two weeks between now and July 2011, when the new system will be rolled out.  You can find out the members of the committee, read minutes of the meetings so far, and other information at the TN DOE website.
