UPDATE: The County Commission Agenda committee discussed the resolution to change insurance at length on Tuesday, September 8th. Ultimately, the resolution as seen here was sent to the full commission: There were three motions to amend that failed, one to leave current retirees alone by Commissioner Caskey, one to lower the out of pocket maximum in the recommendation to $3000 by Commissioner Moon, and one to lower the out of pocket maximum in the recommendation to $2500 by Commissioner Caskey. Commissioners Stinnett and Lewis made several comments against the proposed amendments. You can listen to the insurance portion of the meeting below, or read brief notes on the discussion.
