National Board Professional Development Opportunity
Teachers are constantly looking for new ways to expand their professional skill set. One of the ways to grow as a professional is through the National Board Certification process. TEA is pleased to announce a two-day Jump Start training on November 13-14 in Nashville for National Board Certification candidates.
National Board Jump Start is led by a fun and dynamic training team of National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs). The training will cover Foundations (NBCT Standards and Process overview) on Friday evening from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Component 2 (Differentiation in Instruction) and Component 3 (Teaching Practice and Learning Environment) will be from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Seating is limited. Preference will be given to educators who have an NBPTS candidate ID number. Register with NBPTS at http://boardcertifiedteachers.org/sign-in.
An application for the training can be downloaded here.
The application should be completed and returned to Deborah Bonner at dbonner@tnea.org on or before Friday, October 30, 2015, along with your $25 registration fee. The application can also be mailed to:
